Jung Jae Kwon is a Ph.D. candidate at MIT's Department of Political Science and Security Studies Program. He is also a predoctoral fellow at the Project on Managing the Atom and International Security Program at the Harvard Kennedy School's Belfer Center. His research interests broadly include nuclear security, deterrence, and security affairs in Asia. His doctoral dissertation examines the strategies America's non-nuclear allies use to generate deterrence with their non-nuclear military power.
